So I signed this regen - Arie De Bruine - from a dutch side - their reserves- when he was a youngster. Only 375k. I played him occasionally but because I had Agbonlahor, Altidore, Yakubu, Stancu and Vaughan as my strikers - and Cahill/Riquelme/Grenier as my AMC's in the 5-3-2 formation I played, he never really got a look in. After being loaned out for a season, staying in my reserves and whatnot, I just didn't see him breaking into the side - he never really impressed in the games that he played in for me - I decided to take the money for him when I had a mass clear-out of some players that were just making up the numbers, so sold him on for £8.25m (a great profit, no doubt!). It was an offer I couldn't refuse.

Newcastle have just signed him for £10m from the club I sold him to and, since leaving me, his career has just taken off. At the age of 21, he looks set to be an absolute beast of a player with MANY years still left in the game. It's left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Ever had the same sort of situation yourselves? I just know he's going to rape me when I play Newcastle later this season.

Clericus Cup (the championship of the Vatican) by 23enzo86-Agloedx

Clericus Cup (the championship of the Vatican) by 23enzo86-Agloedx
Created the championship and the national team of the Vatican

I have created a national team of the Vatican and the Clericus Cup, the championship of the Vatican.
I created a new continent so as not to involve the Clericus Cup teams participating in European competitions and the national team at the European championship and World Cup, just as happens in reality.
There are two groups of 8 teams, 4 best of both rounds will qualify for the final phase.
If you prefer that teams can participate in the European Cup and the national team will participate at the European Championships and World Championships, in the folder you download, you will find a changed file in which this happens.
Folder you will find the logos and kits for the teams and for the national team

The file was created with the 10.3

Soon kits and logos...

FM2010 Time Machine

Your probably thinking wtf! But let me explain, I have decided to emulate a ‘time-machine’ in Football Manager terms. I have holidayed many seasons in different countries and saved the game after each year.

This will allow you, the fans, to download a save from 2010 or any year up to 2025, I will be looking to further the years soon, but I wanted to use 2025 as a solid base to get lots of different countries done.

This post will be updated every time a new country on FM2010 gets ‘time machine’d’ and I will link you to the post which will contain the list of saves for that specific country.
I hope you enjoy this feature, because it will allow you to start a new game but in the future, just by downloading a save game. It’s as simple as that….Do you want to play with all regens in the year 2025? Or just get the first season over and done with because its boring? The time machine has alot of possibilities and different scenarios for you to utilize so enjoy

Countries so far:

England - http://aidtheboshttp://aidtheboss.com/england-fm2010-time-machine
Italy - http://aidtheboss.com/fm2010-time-machine-italy/
Spain - http://aidtheboss.com/spain-fm2010-time-machine/
Germany - http://aidtheboss.com/germany-fm2010-time-machine/
France - http://aidtheboss.com/france-fm2010-time-machine/

If you get any problems with installing, post here and I will try to help. You need patch 10.2 for them to work, and patch 10.3 for the France one to work. Details on how to install them are in the post.

Enjoy guys!

Network Game

Anyone play multiplayer FM? I sometimes played it with my brother, worked when we were in the same house on the same router but I can't seem to work it over the net.

Thought Hamachi would work but it appears not.

So, does anyone play? How? And anyone fancy it sometime?

Kris Boyd

Everyone should know by now this guy is a goal machine but has anyone tried him outside of the SPL? He scored something ridiculous like 110 goals in three seasons with Rangers for me in all competitions but always failed in Europe. I was with Burnley and decided I needed a guy who could do the most important thing - score.

I knew it was a risk as to whether he could make it in the EPL and although he wasn't anywhere near as spectacular as he was with Rangers (nowhere near as good a team behind him and obviously a better standard of league) he still did pretty well, scoring 13 league goals in 22 games which for a relegation side isn't bad at all.

Anyone tried him outwith SPL?

Jonjo Shelvey

Has anyone had any experiences with him? I noticed on one of my past save games he was a world class AMC, getting England caps etc. On another he was retrained to a AMC/ST with Juventus and was getting 20 goals a season in Serie A, not bad considering he was 22ish.

I have signed him with Benfica to retrain him as a ST, maybe in the Cardozo role when he eventually moves on, and he's really doing fb. I only bring him on for 30 minutes in games I'm winning, but he's constantly getting 7.0+ ratings with the odd goal too.

Any other experiences with him?

FM General Discussions

Tis back ladies. For all the on topic chit chat, still not an excuse to post shite.

Currently I'm so frustrated at the game, I can't seem to get into a game as I'm so shite with everyone! I've only had one game past a season which was KV Woluwe Zaventem, was enjoying it until I got fucking sacked

Started as Rangers/Forfar/St Johnstone/Spurs/Man City/Udinese as well but not got past a few games. Its the tactics that are killing me.

dangtfc's African gems

This is a test to see whether I can spot a good piece of talent really. I'll post up the Africans who turn up on my French game (with all African players loaded) that I think have some potential and we can monitor their progression.

First two lads are Joshua Obaje and Mark Sekyere:

Obaje is a young Nigerian striker who I signed for £100k. Tall and powerful for his age, he also possesses some pace and has decent technical attributes for someone plucked out of obscurity. He was signed from Heartland in his home country of Nigeria.

http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/814/7joshuaobaje.png

Next up is Ghanaian midfielder Mark Sekyere who is currently plying his trade in the Ivory Coast. Mark is pacey, agile, tenacious and has bags of stamina. His weak point is his height and weight but hopefully he will fill out over time as he already has the makings of a strong central midfielder in the Essien mould. I'm hoping to bring him in for £60k plus clauses but I am facing competition from some big European names including Spartak Moscow.
