As FM10 has arrived and everyone has got to grips with the game, we are now on the lookout for 2 FM Moderators to join the team. We are not interested in how many posts you have, whether you have worked as a staff member before, we simply want the best people for the job! It would be to your advantage if you have specific talents in fields such as writing, graphics, databases or even video making, but just having the work ethic and passion for a new challenge could be enough.

Its a bit worrying the amount of staff that is on this team and not much seems to be happening staff wise with production and making discussion on the forum.

It is not a dig at anyone or trying to argue, just saying. Hope the new people can sparken it up a bit, and get activity like the old days booming!

It's not for the want of trying, Luke. Having seen it first hand, the guys are utterly determined to get the site back on track and booming again and - I'd imagine - are letting people get to grips with the game first before releasing some challenges and suchlike. Most of the newest content is on the mainsite in terms of the blogs and such and they are an interesting read ;)

There is a lot more FM discussion at the moment, it seems, and some new faces popping up as well which is good to see. Hopefully it can kick on from here.

I must admit I don't visit the main site of this site or any other FM site because they're rather boring IMO.

I'm basing my view on forums, and from what I have experience off from the amount of staff there is I feel there should be far more activity and topics to discuss really, but like I said hopefully with these new people that come in they can get it booming again.

I'm with Jez on this one, it might not look like inactivity from the outside but, as Jez said, having seen it first hadnd behind the scenes there's dozens of things going on that are being worked on or suggested to get this place properly going again. This is just the transition period while FM10 is still new out.

Theres hardly loads of staff anyway. The staff shouldn't have to do all the work - the members have the ability to post just as much as we do :D

But I echo what Jez says, believe me we are trying out utmost to get activity back to where it was.

When ever i come on now, which is every couple of days, theres plenty of FM stuff for me too look at tbh, makes me want the game so much as well /o\

I would say Off Topic isn't as busy as it once was though, which FMV is mostly known for tbh, but i would say activity will pic up in a month or so because not everyone will have had the game yet like meee.

Yeah FM is busy which is good, same here on the makes me want to get it bit, I havent got it yet either and wasnt that fussed and seeing it on here has made me want it, but im in no massive rush.

Yeah off topic isnt as busy which is a shame, but at least off topic isnt over ruling FM sections.

As for the last bit, don't even go there.

I think maybe the main site needs some more exposure be it with a 'content of the week' article in this Board Room section maybe. It seems a lot of people still have the view there's not much on it when in fact it is actually quite rife with stuff now and a lot of good articles and information on there.

I'm looking forward to see who applies. I think we need some new members so maybe a recruitment campaign is needed again. Tap into some new sources.

It is ok in tapping up new member's but imo would not advertise all kind of people just after staff role's,then you dont get the staff you are after.
