Looks like you had a productive draft and if you were to stick in DC for a while I'm sure you could add to this and build a great squad of youngsters to dominate not only the MLS but continental competitions as well. Can't wait to see which youngsters make it into your team for the next season, but quite a few look promising :thumbsup: .

Sabres have nice jerseys but that's about as far as my admiration for them goes. Avs all the way here but when the walkouts happened it ruined the NHL for me. Saw my team get ripped apart and now the teams change players too much - can't get a bond with them. Back in 96 was the first time I watched the Avs play because a friend of mine was going through their system (played center and got as far as the Hershey Bears line 3), and I was mesmerised by one of the greatest lineups I have seen to this day.



I still try to keep an eye out for the Avalanche results but it's not the same for me anymore. Still I'll be looking to get a new NHL game soon for the PS2 as I can't find my old ones and used to love playing them. :thumbsup:

Very nice skin you have mate and a great start to this game. I always enjoyed managing in the USA but I find it tough to keep tabs on the players over there sometimes and lose touch. Nice to see a few familiar faces in your squad though. Good luck for the playoffs! :thumbsup:

Ok I have finished year one of this challenge and had a very mixed bag of results - great performances in the league but viciously poor in Europe (Did not even make it through the Europa League Qualifiers) :doh:

We were also fairly poor in the Copa del Rey, have not made much money and have no good regens to sell so I'm thinking that it's going to take some luck to get a good points total on this - still we are in the Champions League for next year and we should make the group stages of that for a few points.

The best news are my new signings for next season (since I didn't actually sign anyone for this year), two fb players who I'll let you know about later, but who should help us to win a few more games! :thumbsup:

My sister and her kids went back to Warrington today but the train broke down in Cwmbran, so my mum and brother went up there to pick her up and take here to Leominster where her Husband was coming to pick them up and the car was dodgy - so they all came back here where my brother-in-law just arrived to pick everyone up. He's gonna drive them home tonight which is a long way so probably gonna be wrecked for work tomorrow the poor sod. Still finding it funny that my 3 year-old nephew is claiming he broke the train as he didn't want to go. :worshippyhw3:
